I am working on creating a whale pencil holder and need to cut off a large section to make it look more whale-like. I've tried to use split body but I can't seem to create a curved plane. Any suggestions on how to create a curved plane or any other ideas on how I could do it?
How to create a curved construction plane?
Not sure if your just using the wrong terminology but you can't create a curved construction plane you can sketch on but you can create curved surface patches. Switch to the patch workspace and create a curved patch, this is assuming you need a surface curved in 2 directions. If you just need a curve in one direction just draw a curve and use that to split the body.
