I am designing a trailer hitch cover for a friend, is is oval and will be 2 parts, the back plate is just the oval with reflective tape, the from with the lettering, is thru extruded, leaving the openings. There are letters that were drawn from the spline tool to get the logo close to correct. So after you extrude the letters you have the parts that are floating, like in the "g", "e", "a", "R", B, O, A, so how do I add small ribs to hold them in place, and not show up too much?
When this is finished, and assembled, the headlights will hit the reflective tape and make it seem as though the logo is lighted. At some point I may make it into a lighted one, but not at this time.
thank you in advance for the time need to read and reply to my question.
