How can I edit multiple imported .obj files and connecting them together?

Hi everyone. I have only been using Fusion 360 for its modeling environment and the other day I saw a cool video game model that was supposedly imported and stitched together, but in an organic pose (as opposed to the T-pose seen in the picture). I want to do the same, but I don't know where to start. I've been clicking around (making b-reps, trying to stitch them together, creating forms etc) and since I dont have the experience in the sculpting environment it doesnt work. I want these multiple objs (which form the whole person) to make the person look as if he were running and be able to export it as a 3D printable file. The only idea I have is to make the objs into solids, but I dont know how to do that either xD. Thanks in advance!

The first thing I'd suggest is for you to watch the 60 minutes of introductory tutorial videos in the "Learn" section. Based on that you need to come to a conclusion whether or not Fusion 360 is the right tool to do this.

I personally would not attempt this in Fusion 360, I'd use Blender.

How this can be done in Fusion depends on what is contained in thes mesh bodies. If these mesh bodies are the figures individal limbs you have a good chance of success. It would be graet if you could share the .obj file.

You can convert the mesh bodies into B-Reps by right clicking on the object in the Browser and select Convert Mesh to Brep. tehn you need to make then you can individualy position the objects and then you can use "Modify->Combine" to combine them all into one solid object. And off to 3D printing you go.

@Anonymous

First thing you need to understand is your target (Final Model).

You will not be able to pose this model as there is no rigging or weighting of vertices in Fusion...

So if you move each part into your final pose and try to connect them you will end up with one of two scenarios:

 1. A very badly deformed model.

 2. 6 months of your life wasted on something that could have been done in a day in a different app.

As @TrippyLighting said use Blender or another modeling app to achieve your goal.

Now if you planned to make this like the old GI Joe figures with moving visible joints then your good otherwise get ready for a bunch of headaches.

Just my 2 cents
