Help with 90° loft with different diameters

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi, I am having an issue with creating a 90° loft when the diameters are different.

The ending result is either unrealistic or  has auto-insertecting geometries that I can't subtract/join.

I just want a result that would happen if you would try to bend a metal rod..

This is the best I could do, which I am not satisfied with as the intersection is weird.

ANy tips on how to make it? Thank you.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

I'm not sure what it would be useful for, it's just a generic question for any 90° loft with different diameters..

it would help people directly answer your question without having to create an example model from scratch.

this is probably as realistic as your going to get, but probably not worth the trouble.

Oh, I never saw those modeling features.... so I guess there is no way with loft? Because I do 90° features with different diameters very often and it's hard.

I guess I will throw one into the pot to be considered.  Model is attached.
