HELP!! NEW HERE!! SHELL problem

Can you help me with this thing. (see attachment for reference) when I do shell I came up with the hollow thickness. while i saw in the video tutorial its a solid thickness may I know why I get this? since I follow the right instruction on how to use shell command. Thanks!!

would it be possible for you to share the model or attach it to this thread so that we can look at it?  It is a bit hard to tell what the problem might be just from the image.

Hi jeff, i just solve my problem this morning, I think its a bug from this software (need to restart the laptop or the software?), here itis (see attach image). Thanks for your response by the way.

Thanks for the update, Angelo.  Glad to hear that you were able to make progress.

 

I wonder if the problem you were seeing was a bug in the Section Analysis.  I have occasionally seen problems where we incorrectly draw the "capping face" (that speckled face showing the cut), and it looks like the model is not solid.  Sometimes this is related to graphics card/driver, but not always.

 

At any rate, your model looks good.
