If you created it at the origin just use the split body command and a perpendicular plane as the splitting tool. If it is remote of the origin use the center point  of the torus and construct an axis through that and then construct a plane at an angle on that axis. Use that plans as a splitting tool as described.

I used the split body option, and not sure what to do after that.  Everything I do ends up not showing any difference, still a full circle. How do I select the perpendicular plane?

Do I do as you suggested from the start, like delete what I have and redo? and do as you suggest at build time?

I've never watch a video like this but think it's probably great. so am I needing to wait longer to have it allow me to see video?

The time required depends on the Autodesk servers.  Be sure to Reload the page from time to time, it will show up.  I will monitor on my end and be sure it does develop. It is there now for you to watch.

Do not understand the question.  Please attach your model for assistance.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

You failed to attach your model, a pretty picture defines what you want to do, I need to model to possibly show you how.  Please see my instruction in my Previous post.

The main thing to remember is to place the hole in the correct position in the first place.  In the video I demonstrate two basic methods of doing this.  I also show you how to move a hole but this is not recommended, place it using an established method and then simply change the location dimensions.

Thank you, I'm still waiting for your last video to load, but wanted to say this, the hole I'm wanting moved was mounted in exactly the right place at the time I punched it but because you showed me how to remove half of my torus I moved the bracket up .255" so I could move the bottom bar up. lol. Thank you so much for your teachings. You are great at this.
