You see in the video I posted using the select body RMB that I cannot copy and past.

Guess what.

I did the same and it works.

So I am really lost here now. Either it is a bug in Fusion because also some other hotkeys often bug out like show hide the 3D view cube etc. or I am loosing my mind.

Thanks for checking Claas.

It is a bug in Fusion, for Win and Mac, to lose the copy+paste keys, and a few other things as you have noted.

This is what I'm getting at by asking so many questions. 🙂 Trying to figure out what may cause this. It comes and goes, but why? The answer must be some kind of condition that is temporary. If we can reproduce it we can fix it, but first we need to find the condition that causes it.

Your help is appreciated, and I know you have a keen eye. If you can figure it out I'll give you 10 kudos. 🙂

(likewise, if we solve it I'll post the results here too...)

This is bizzare. I did nothing to Fusion to make this change ?!

That may well be a correct observation Claas. It could be Fusion, or as you note, it may not be Fusion. It's entirely possible some other software on your Mac is creating a temporary block for the hotkeys. In any case, it can be fixed if we can diagnose it. Thanks for helping!

Thanks for the information.

Would you say this is a 100% full-time condition for 100% of these Macs?

Or is it some portion of time, for some portion of these Macs?

Do any of the machines never show the problem?

Thanks,

It may help is to record the Copy/Paste behavior with Autodesk Screencast.

Screencast will capture keyboard input, this may help troubleshoot what keyboard input is registering with the OS while Fusion 360 is active.

If you use the selection tool (linger on the left click) and select Body, you should always note that Copy/Paste commands will appear on the right click menu (while the Body is selected). In order for copy/paste commands to work, you must have a Body selected. I'm wondering if when selecting Body from the selection Tool, something else is being inadvertently selected. Are you using a Magic Mouse?

It seems that the Magic Mouse as an input device may be prone to some behavior that makes it tricky to use with Fusion 360.

Could this behavior be related to this?

Thanks,
