fillet not working on edges?

I'm trying to round over the "fur" on this design, but am unable to fillet it. I've tried all variations I can think of in fillet and rule filet and it just keeps giving me errors. I've drawn random shapes in the same file and successfully fillet'd them, but cannot do it to the body. Thank you for any help. attached is the file

Yes, that's roughly what I would like to do. How did you achieve that? I noticed in the timeline on the bottom that you did a bit of sculpting. What processes did you do? Thank you!

Try deleting all rounded faces on the corners of your fur:

(this type of geometry doesn't seem to work well with fillets)

While adding fillets uncheck "chain selection" and select one side only per fillet

after applying fillets on both sides you can delete faces shown below

Hope that helps. I am pretty new into fusion and CAD designing so there might be a more elegant way to solve this.
