Fillet around a cylinder

Hi,

I'm 3d printing a duct to test efficiency its efficiency with quadcopters.  I currently have the basic duct designed, but in order for it to be printed, I need a fillet between the majority of the duct and the top lip.  Under the modeling environment, I have tried the Modify>Fillet command, but it is only giving me errors.  How can I add a fillet or something similar so that it can be printed?

Just tried the fillet command with a similar shape and had no problem; so I assume there must be some sort of problem with the model. If you export it and attach to a post someone can take a look at it.

One alternative, you could create a sketch of the fillet outline and revolve it around the model. Or start anew and create a complete cross section of the duct wall (including fillet) and revolve it.

That would be the best way to do it hands down, editing it would be a snap

Thank you.  I created a tangent plane to the side, rotated it by 90 degrees and created a sketch and revolved it around the duct and joined the bodies.
