Face selection

I am conducting a simulation study of the pressure inside the cylindrical vessel. In the first study, the left and right face of the cylinder is straight. I want to apply pressure inside the cylinder.  For this how can I select inside of the cylindrical cross-section being remain withing the simulation workspace. It cannot be done by holding the left mouse key on the face, inside of which we are actually interested to select. Or even not by double-clicking on face.

Section Analysis will allow you to select inside faces.  You may need to create the Section Analysis outside of the simulation environment.

I know that I can do the section analysis inside the simplify workspace within the simulation section. But, when I come back after cutting the section from the center for dividing the body into parts. it will not carry the section analysis command into the simulation workspace as it did in the design workspace for easily selecting the body from inside. Kindly, let me know if there is any other solution.

Why is select other not an option? I have here a hollow cylinder, and I can apply pressure force to the inside faces using select-other.

Thank you very much for your kind suggestion by holding the left mouse key for while it gives for the option of internal face selection as you have shown in your hollow cylinder case.
