Help
I've spent hours on this and for some reason my sketch won't extrude beyond a certain point. Its extruding possibly 5mm and no more then the sketch face turns into a weird wired almost transparent face and not a selectable face I can place another sketch on.
Any ideas anyone? Maybe I have a setting wrong!
Pic included
Thanks everyone, in advance.

I have the same issue as Steve above. I start an extrusion and it wouldn't allow me to go beyond 1.8".
So I left it at 1.8", ended the sketch and then started a new sketch choosing the surface of the previous extrusion.
For some reason I was able to continue the extrusion out to the 2" I needed. Any idea why I couldn't extrude beyond the 1.8" in the first place?

Not without your file for testing,
So switching the Analysis off, did not work?
Adding new questions to an old thread, like this solved one, not a good idea.
Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?
I've attached the .f3d file as well as a screen shot of the problem. As you can see in the screen shot, I'm trying to extrude the end of the body. It won't allow me to go beyond 1.8". As I mentioned earlier, I just hit OK at 1.8" and then clicked on the newly created end and I was able to extrude more from there.
You are working backwards. That taper extrude is failing because of the holes' arcs of the profile, they are required to taper to "very small" and fails at 1.8" ish.
Later in the file you are cutting one of the interfering holes away anyway.
Re arrange your timeline, and fix the yellow icon.
Might help....
I never thought of this. Thank you for the lesson. One more step in my learning curve.
