Too bad it's still really buggy and slow. Smiley Frustrated

Also, you can't embed a screencast into comments/replies of some forums like IdeaStation.

Hi @Discussion_Admin,

I have already created a tutorial awhile ago on how to install and use AD screencast. The tutorial is pined in the "Tips and Tutorials" section. It will be great if it was pined inside the "Design, Validate & Document" section as well. Here is the direct link:

It can be useful to demonstrate a workaround. And you can paste the embed code from the screencast site similar to @TrippyLighting demonstrated in the tips thread with youtube videos using the html editor, see link below.

@Discussion_Admin and @TrippyLighting

On more than one occasion I've experienced issues with pausing and playback. It seems to get stuck playing and will not pause.

The UI is extremely cumbersome and slow. Editing requires moving to another screen, which then requires placing markers. I imagine most edits would encompass simply trimming from the ends of a screencast. However, to do this operation requires setting four markers and deleting twice and then going back to another screen to save or delete.

Even after one has received an notice saying the SC is ready, it still will not show up in the My Screencasts Public dropdown for another 5 mins. Not to mention I can't simply copy and paste the short URL given to use.

There are many more issues...

I rarely edit screencasts. For longer stuff I use another tool (Sreenflow).

I don't see the lagginess or other effects you describe and an as fairly frequent user of the screencast tool (I have made 258 screencasts so far) I must say that it beeing so closely connected to Fusion 360 makes it very handy to use.

Most are not having these kind of issues that I know of. Have you posted in the Screencast board for help\answers?

@TrippyLighting By saying you rarely use a feature is poor argument against that feature being poorly implemented. Also, by saying you use a completely different program seems to indicate you agree that SC could be improved.

I'm suggesting there are issues and much room for improvement.

For example, one bug I've isolated is with a longer SC, if you press play then skip ahead you will not be able to pause. Demonstrated below:

@Discussion_Admin I will post this bug to the proper forum.
