Displaying Holes Through a Solid

Is there a way to display a hole drilled through a solid. I want to keep the "shaded/hidden edges" style for visualization but unlike wireframe I don't see an option to show the channel for the hole. I will be drilling several holes in the block and displaying them completely will be useful. (I turned on all Object Visibility but that did not help).

I do not know how to make them display all the time but I can make them all to display with one click.  I added a hole just to demonstrate.  As you go along, creating more and more holes, you can add them to the display group.   Screencast will show how.

If this is just for visualization, sounds like a perfect time to use Inspect->Section Analysis.

Thanks John. This will work--I am surprised this is not just a display feature of the product.

Jeff--sectional view work in some cases but here I will have the channels on several different planes.
