Display of Feature/Tool Detailed Description Disapears too fast to read

Using any of the modules (Model, CAM, etc) when I hover my  mouse over the tools in the ribbon tool bar (such as 2D pocket or even Box or Cylinder in the model tab)  The little help detailed description in the darker gray box (that displays to the right of the tool) with the preview of what the tool does displays for maybe 1 second max.  Not nearly long enough to read any of the text or even look at the image to see what the tool can do.  Is there a display setting or option I can change to have them display longer?   I have looked through  most of the display settings and not found anything.  I also did some searches of the forums but was unsuccessful in finding any help.  I am not sure what that pop up box is actually named any how to even do a quality search.

I was able to very quickly grab a screen shot of the box that keeps disapearing below and put a red arrow next to it.

For me they stay visible until I move the mouse, as long as I don't move the mouse there's no time limit at all. I can't see any setting for this either.

Edit I tested on Win7.

Even if I let go of the mouse as soon as I hover over the icon it disapears in less than 1 sec.

Here's a thread about the Tool Tip display. The only time my Tool Tips disappear is if the mouse pointer is near the right side of the menu then another tool tip comes up asking if i want the tool added to the top tool bar.

This is now happening to me as well.  The image that shows what each tool does is just quickly disappearing after a flash.  It started mid creation of my third item since getting the subscription.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,

There are a few "tooltips" posts that describe it.

This one has most of the details about what is going on:

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/design-validate-document/disappearing-tool-tips/m-p/6007546#M43867

The tooltip is being sent behind the application. Dragging the toolbar to dock at the bottom and then docking at the top again seems to help.

This one has a detailed description of how to avoid this:

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/design-validate-document/tooltips-disappear-too-quickly/td-p/5706983/p...

Steps to remedy: Minimize all open windows on all monitors aside from Fusion. The tooltips should stay up.

That all being said, we hope to release the fix for this in the coming month. It should be listed in the "what's new" post when it comes out.

Thanks for your patience with this.
