Well, that seemed to work, for the moment anyway, but it seems like a rather exreme solution. No other program seems to have this problem that I am aware of or have noticed.
I will try to see if I can keep track of what I do in the interm if it suddenly happens again since it might well be caused by a different program or something.
Thank you.
Just out of curiosity, am I the only one that finds Fusion to be counter-intuitive? Or at least quirkily unique? I am a toolmaker and most of my 3d modeling has always been done in MasterCam, but I have always been pretty good at making things work right out of the box. Fusion, however, has confounded me again and again. I can understand the need to plan ahead, in some respects, but it seems totally resistant to any slight alteration of the workflow.
Half the time I cannot even figure out how to redimension an object, which is critical to being able to design with the program.
Perhaps I need a better grasp of the difference between 'sketches', objects, and components because there is a huge difference between creating a solid object and extruding a sketch if I need to alter it later, or am I missing something?
