Designing new object on right axis.

Hi all readers,

When I create a new object/product I was used to select a plane/axis and after selection the screen orientation was turned to that. But somehow, suddenly it stays in the situation as it started, no turning in the right direction. Does anyone now how that happend and how to solve this?

Thanks in advance.

On the sketch palette you have 3D sketch enabled. Just uncheck, close the sketch then the next time to create or edit a sketch it will work as before.

Hi,

uncheck 3-D Option here and in the preferences > enable "auto look at sketch"

Mark,

Thanks for your quick reply. I've searched where to find this setting and
didn't realize that it was in the Sketch pallet. I don't even know how it
turned on, I can't remember that I turned it on. It must be, but possibly
without being aware of it.

Thanks again, I'm happy it's been solved.

Kind regards,

Theo

Günther,

Thanks for your quick reply. Mark gave me just a bit before you the same
answer :). I’m happy with the solution that both of you gave me.

It's probably been enabled for a long time but a few months ago 3d sketch got some enhancements and the behaviour changed. You should always try and read through the What's New when there's an update or you'll miss stuff like this.😉
