Would you be able to attach your graphics information here?  You can find this in the help drop down in the upper right under graphics diagnostics.  Also how old is your graphics driver?  Many times issues like this can be resolved with an updated graphics driver, or checking the graphics settings being used by Fusion 360.

Cheers,

Looks like the computer is using the integrated graphics card instead of the discrete graphics card.

A couple of links with suggestions that may help:

Can you give these a try? Let us know if there is any questions!

Thanks,

That did nothing, does the same thing. There is another post where he is getting black models so maybe it dosent have to do with that message. It say it recovered successfully and the 'Model are now Black" post doesnt mention anything about an issue with his graphics card.

Is the system running on the discrete graphics card while the models are black? What discrete graphics card and driver version are you using?

Can you reply with the results of the Direct X Diagnostic tool (dxdiag.exe) here?

1. Launch %windir%\system32\dxdiag.exe
2. Select Save All Information
3. Please reply with the resulting *.TXT file attached or copy and paste results into reply

The Models are black post does appear to be related to graphics.

Thank you for the file, I'm researching for other suggestions/solutions. Does switching between various workspace bring the color back to the models? For example, switching from Model to CAM to Animation to Patch?

Does this work if you are using Direct X 9 vs Direct X 11 Graphic Driver settings in the General panel of Preferences?

In the below link, there's a suggestion to disable hardware acceleration.

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/vstudio/Aa970912(v=VS.100).aspx#disablehardwareacceleration

As a diagnostic procedure, I'm curious if changing the DWORD value to 1 (disabling hardware acceleration) has any impact on the issue. This is not a long term solution, but something that may help for the moment.

Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks,

I have tried switching back and forth with no luck kinda weird though. One of the models is fine and the other 10 or so are all black. Not sure why that would be. Switching the version between 9 and 11 makes no difference. I am doing a complete reboot between changing them. Moving between Cam, Sculpt, Model etc does not change the colors. What I do notice is that when you go into Appreance to change the material its made from (steal, aluminum etc) the color changes but only while its highlighted. Once you click off to something else the color goes back to black. However if you select the face again the selection will then be the right color. Not sure if that tells you anything.

Thank you for the update. Some other quick questions, regarding the set up?

-Do you use a space mouse? If so, does disabling the space mouse help at all?

-Do you use dual monitors? If so, does switching to one monitor help?

Thanks,

Does your system have the ability to disable hardware acceleration? Like in the below link?

http://www.thewindowsclub.com/hardware-acceleration-windows-7

I've heard from another person that switching back and forth from Model to Render workspace (more than one time) helps to solve the issue temporarily. Another user reported better behavior after disconnecting the space mouse.

Do you have any other peripherals plugged into the computer? Does it help if you disconnect?

There appears to be something going on here, I hope we can get to the bottom of it quickly! Thank you for reporting the issue and your help!

Thanks,

@DesignerRG Are you also using an Intel HD graphic card?

Can you post a Direct X Diagnostic test here?

1. Launch %windir%\system32\dxdiag.exe
2. Select Save All Information
3. Please reply with the resulting *.TXT file attached or copy and paste results into reply

Thanks,
