Combine components for single export

GOAL: I need to export an assembly (3 components) as a single STL so I can 3D print it.

SCENARIO: I have 3 components that I'm trying to combine so I can export a single STL file. When I use the combine tool and select the bodies within the components to combine I get this error:

Any suggestions?

Hi @Anonymous,

If you want to share the file with me (via a public link would probably be easiest), I can take a peek and see why the combine isn't working. Based off of that error message, it looks like some geometry references are being lost. Do you have any warnings or errors in your timeline after doing a Compute All (from the Modify Menu)?

Anyways, I believe you can get a single STL file without needing to do the Combine feature. If you right-click the top-level component in the Browser Tree and select Save as STL it should create a single STL file for your assembly. Without seeing the file however, I am only guessing.
