Chain Selection broken on offset face

Dear Community

I have observed behavior of a feature that is common sense and works on one feature and went missing on another.

Expected behavior is that is works everywhere the same. Is there a hidden setting to make this work again ?

Chain selection on offset works as normal, on offset face does not work at all

Hi! I am wondering if there are faces not G1 continuous. Try using Fillet command and hover those edges. Does any of those edges highlight?

Many thanks!

I believe that you have raised this issue in the past:

as indicated in both of those threads:  Offset (meaning Surface Offset) supports chain selection, but Offset Face (modifying a solid by moving one face along its normal) does not.  It has always been this way, so chain selection did not "go missing" on Offset Face.  These are different commands entirely.  I don't think that there is any reason why Offset Face could not support chained selection, it just has not ever been implemented.
