Cant generate drawings

Hi all,

Somehow, today Fusion360 did not let me get inside. (Windows desktop version)

Uninstalled the software, and re-installed. I was able to get inside and see my project.

Tried to create a drawing from a design and it did not let me  do it. (Image attached with the pop up window)

Can you verify what version of Fusion you are running?

Hi Juan,

Are you still encountering this issue?  If so here are a few suggestions/things to try:

1.  Close Fusion > Launch Task Manager > are there any Fusion or AcCoreConsole processes still running (or not responding)?  If so, End process.

2.  Reboot never hurts

3.  Re-launch Fusion > Try to open a drawing

4.  If that doesn't do it, repeat step 1 then open Windows Explorer and go to %LOCALAPPDATA%

5.  Go to folder Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360 and rename the folder AcCore (can be just AcCore_BAK)

6.  Relaunch Fusion and try again.

Please let me know how it goes.  We had a number of startup problems fairly recently but this is the first I've heard of the problem returning since the last update.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Harshul,

This sounds like the Windows Update issue discussed here: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-support/2d-drawing-not-opening/td-p/8219894.

Can you try Fenton's solution towards the bottom of that thread and see if that addresses the problem?

Thanks,
Chris
