Cant figure out how to align face with another face

So I had combined two bodies and now I am trying to make some of the face even. I tried extracting (Cutting and Joining), Splitting bodies (Object is curved so its difficult to get what I want removed). I cant figure out how to go about this. Maybe someone could shed some light?

The red arrow is what I want to make even with the face with the red x.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

For at least part of that geometry - select it and the hit Delete key on the keyboard.

Hmm that's odd, I tried that earlier and kept getting errors and now it works! Thanks! Not sure what made it work now lol
