Yet again, Fusion 360 is stalling doing something.

Pressing the ESC key isn't doing anything. Sometimes we have to wait endlessly and because Fusion 360 is rather slow in general even if it finally completes the action we've still often waited several minutes.

Pull the arrow a little to quickly when filleting the "right" geometry. Fusion 360 takes it's sweet time.

Mistype something you wait again. Tough!

3 Years ago the explanation was given than this is complicated. OK. Granted. This was three years ago.

By this time it is totally unacceptable that this still happens and is not fixed!.

Escape key does not stop the fillet command for me. Here is a model to try out which was converted from a mesh.

Pick an edge to fillet and set a dimension, then hit Ctrl and "accidentally" select the converted face. Esc will not stop the fillet command.

I have done that several times in the past where I have accidentally selected a chained face instead of an edge. Escape would be very appreciated. Forcing Fusion to shut down is not an acceptable solution.

It could be that Fillet is one command where escape is not supported, I'll have to check when I get back to the office.  Or, there may be something else going on that is specific to face fillet that is different than edge fillet.

Here is an idea...

in Autodesk Inventor Professional many of the tools have a toggle to turn Preview OFF.

Perhaps the Fusion developers could walk across the hall and ask their Inventor teammates how it is done.
