Beginner in Fusion 360, need help

I am very new and I created a spray paint can in Fusion 360 (which took forever to figure out).  I would like to make it into a maker holder with a lid that opens and closes.  I have watched many videos but can't seem to find the right type of hinge to make so it opens and closes.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I have added a photo of the can I created.

Please attach your model efforts, up to this point, to a Forum reply.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

@jhackney1972 Here is the file and thank you for your response.  Also I have included an image of the idea for the hinge I would like unless you can see a better way of doing it.

Cleaned your model up quite a bit since you need Components to create the finished model.  You still have the necessary bodies, under each component, to created your 3D print from.  I also cleaned up your logo and make it a part of the bottom can.  You need to learn to create a component, activate it, then do your sketches and bodies.  This will keep the sketches and bodies under the component they belong to.  Remember to activate the top level before creating each new component.  If you would like a short video on this, let me know.  As I mentioned in the Screencast, I believe a small cut brad would make a good hinge pin.  Your model is so small I hope it is what you want. The total height is less then 1 inch!  Model is attached.

@jhackney1972, This is awesome thank you very much for taking your time to help me.  I am very new to Fusion 360, I would love a short video explaining components.  The model is small because I was sure of how to design so I tried to go with simple measurements and then I scale in the 3D print program.  Thank you for cleaning up my design.  I will go through timeline slowly to see the changes you made.  If you have any suggestions of where to go to learn more on how to use fusion 360 I am all ears.  Once again thank you for your time and help.  The design with out the hinge gets scaled up to about 7 to 8 inches in height upon printing.  Do you still think a small brad nail or pin would be the best solution?  Or should I consider learning how to make the 3D printed pin for the hinge?

I did a quick Screencast on creating Components so the sketches and bodies fall under the component in the Browser.  There are other methods of doing this and you will find them as you go along.  I suggest you use the Fusion 360 Self-Paced Learning to get a good start.  You will find it as indicated in my screen capture below.  You should also feel free to come back to the Forum to ask your questions, there are a lot of talented people here trying to help.  Just come early, do not let a problem get the best of you before you seek help.

As far as your model. I do not do 3D printing but to scale the model that much, using the 3D application seems wrong.  Why not model it the correct size to begin with?  Does the scaling distort the model?  As far as the Pin for the hinge.  I still believe that a small finishing nail, cut off, will make a nice hinge pin.  I do know 3D printing has tolerances and trying to model a printed pin can be challenging.  By the way, I did not leave any tolerance between my created hinge so you may want to add a little if needed.

Thank you for that, I am fully grasping the components and how helpful they can be.  I have restarted my design from scratch with components and measurements in mind.  Also if I create the hole in the hinge, how would I keep the pin from falling out and I am not sure I understand what you meant by tolerances.  Sorry if I am asking too much, if I am please let me know.
