I did a quick Screencast on creating Components so the sketches and bodies fall under the component in the Browser. There are other methods of doing this and you will find them as you go along. I suggest you use the Fusion 360 Self-Paced Learning to get a good start. You will find it as indicated in my screen capture below. You should also feel free to come back to the Forum to ask your questions, there are a lot of talented people here trying to help. Just come early, do not let a problem get the best of you before you seek help.
As far as your model. I do not do 3D printing but to scale the model that much, using the 3D application seems wrong. Why not model it the correct size to begin with? Does the scaling distort the model? As far as the Pin for the hinge. I still believe that a small finishing nail, cut off, will make a nice hinge pin. I do know 3D printing has tolerances and trying to model a printed pin can be challenging. By the way, I did not leave any tolerance between my created hinge so you may want to add a little if needed.
