Animating cams

It would be great if I could use Fusion 360 to design automata. It would save a huge amount of time and material. A pretty common component of such devices are cams. How would you create such motion in Fusion? I suspect it is a combination between the motion link and contact sets. But I can not seem to figure out. How to use them together. Sample file is attached

Cams can be modelled and animated rather more simply than the Mangler.

Contact sets are performance hungry and have not been recommended.

 

Enable Contact sets.

 

For the sliders, you need to know the maximum drop.  Set Joint limit, to the maximum drop plus a bit more, 

set the rest position to that same value.  The Slider 4, was -7.xxx mm, so I set it to -8 mm.

When setting Joint limits the smaller number must be in to the top limit box, as shown.

Animate the Rev1, and the animation will be jerky but you can see the effect.

Rev3 Joint is misaligned (off centre)
