3D print export utility behavior changed in latest Fusion release

In the previous versions of Fusion I could send stl files directly to Prusa Slicer whether it was already open or not. Multiple exports would place multiple objects on the plater for printing simultaneously. The newest version will only place objects if Prusa Slicer is not already running. It will launch Prusa Slicer, as it should, and the object will appear on the plater as expected. However, if a second object is selected and sent to Prusa Slicer it never appears on the plater. The result is an export one object, slice, send to printer que, quit Prusa Slicer, export a second object, slice, send to print que, rinse and repeat work flow. Not sure if it’s a Fusion problem or a Prusa Slicer problem , running the latest versions of both on macOS.

Hi,

If you had looked at one of the many posts on this topic, you would have realised that there is a ticket for it.
This means that the problem is being worked on.

Yes, I am aware of that now. There were several posts on the bugs forum. I wasn’t sure if it was a bug, or perhaps a problem with my new version of Prusa Slicer. There were significant changes to both pieces of software. Thank you for responding.

The issue has been fixed and a new update for Fusion was deployed last night. So please update your Fusion and you should be able to use your 3d printing workflows again.

My Fusion says that it is "Up to date" as of 2 days ago. October 12, 2024. I'm having the issue where it's pushing me to Manufacturing like I'm creating CAM. I printed on Friday just fine, now today, it's not working. According to this thread, the latest release is fixed, but not for me. Any suggestions?

Mine appears to be slightly newer on the version. Bug creep back in? I'd ask you to update and test but I wouldn't want you to deal with the issue.
