Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for posting Smiley Happy

I think this is the same issue with this.

Please take a look at it and if you have any issue, please let me know.

Many thanks!

Hi Andrew,

There have been other posts about this before, like:

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/design-validate-document/views-are-missing-in-drawing-dwg-export/td-p/...

and

 http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/design-validate-document/dwg-versions-using-drawing-outputs/m-p/649478...

But basically the drawing view objects we use are not supported by non-Autodesk programs.  As I mentioned in the threads above, you can view the view the drawing geometry using an Autodesk product like AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, or TrueView.  If you want to export specific geometry to DXF (for use in CNC, etc.) the most straightforward way to do this is by saving the sketch geometry (from the Model, not Fusion Drawing) to DXF.

Can I ask what specific editing you are looking to do that is not currently available within the Fusion Drawings environment or what do you want to use the output drawing for?

Thanks,
Chris

Ahreum,

I'm using draftsight or bricscad to complete the 2d drawing documentations

example title blocks, standard blocks and details etc

Hi @Anonymous,

I'm sorry I completely misunderstood it. Smiley Sad

I installed DraftSight.. but I'm not sure it only has this way whether or not.

Regarding edit "Title block", we can use "Edit Component" but I think It would have some limitations to modify.

But I think It would be converted to Model Workspace by using AutoCAD.. before opening in DraftSight... (default is in Layout1, so I couldn't see the model)

Did you try it? hum.... please let me know if you need more help.
