revolve part

I am practicing building drawings.

I made this drawing using lines and rotate.  The measurements are all right, the design is right.

Problem. It doesn't appear that the rotation parts are all joined.  In the hole in the top of the stem it appears that the hole is divided on the axis that was rotated.  Then from the top view, it appears that the original part is still there.

The combine command did not solve this.

Is this a visual interpretation that is fine or did I do something wrong.

Thank you.

@Anonymous

Everything looks fine to me, can you export the file as a f3d so we can check it to make sure?

This looks good.

I suggest you turn off your design sketch - I think you are seeing the profile lines and mistaking them for being part of the part edge.

Hope this helps,

Kenny

I would refer to that as modeling rather than drawing.

To me a "drawing" is the 2D representation on a sheet of paper.

As suggested - go to File>Export and then attach your *.f3d model here.

I also recommend turning on the option to display fully constrained (defined) sketches to black.

https://myhub.autodesk360.com/ue2898f39/g/projects/D2016090341517351/data/dXJuOmFkc2sud2lwcHJvZDpmcy... I am not sure that I have attached this properly. I am trying to learn as job and family life permits. Also, how do turn fully constrained drawings to black? Thank you.
