helical gear error

I am using the Helical Gear Generator. But today it suddenly doesnt work and I got this message from fusion.

The solution is to prepare profiles (no matter CW or CCW) and rails in separate sketches.

This add-in was impacted by a change in the internals of Fusion that's discussed here.  There is a new version of the add-in available on the app store.  If you update to the latest version you should be OK.

Hi @Anonymous ,

but the clue is that this should be accomplished by the plugin without any errors. The fact that user can finish this manually is ok but for small number of profiles. Problem presented here is strictly linked with the topic which @BrianEkins  mentioned.
