Hi All,
In the past few days, we have identified an issue that has prevented some of you from downloading renderings from the Rendering Gallery in Fusion 360. When attempting to download a rendering, you may see the error message shown below:
You also may not see any error message, but the rendering will not download. We have also seen some reports of crashes.
This was brought to our attention by community members on the threads below - thank you to everyone who helped bring this to our attention. We apologize to anyone who has been negatively effected by this error.
The development team is working to investigate this problem behavior as a high priority issue. I'll add to this thread a soon as we have more information to share.
Please work around the issue by downloading your renderings from http://rendering.360.autodesk.com.
This appears to be related to OS High Sierra. Just after I upgraded I noticed the problem. I downloaded the same render I could not download on my new laptop on my old laptop that I have not upgraded yet.
I can mostly confirm this. I have a Mac Pro running High Sierra and also Windows 10. When I'm using the Mac OS side I crash when trying to download a rendered file. When I boot into Windows 10 I don't have that issue. Although I've been running fine in High Sierra for quite some time now, this has only been happening for the last couple days.
After the april 17th update, I assume, now i cannot click on the small thumbnails to open the render view window. Thanks for the link to the online gallery, I will use this for now.
Same inability to open previous or current thumbnails in any Render Gallery.
Started happening for me this morning 04/18.
I'm running:
- Mac Sierra 10.12.6
- Fusion 360 2.0.3803
Thanks for the online renderings link.
Definitely in the same boat here as well. Running MacOS High Sierra, and Fusion 360 decides that it has no idea what to do when trying to download a render. After a bit of confusion, it simply crashes in a heap of despair and sadness.
