How can this not just be a small modification project of the current Feature Control Frame tool in drawings?
It is pretty much the basis for what would be needed as a weld symbol tool, just slight modifications to the leader and what symbols are available.
If you are trying to do something interesting with welds long-term that is understandable, but in the interim you should enable simple weld symbols so that people can produce at least basic drawings.
It's kind of hard to call Fusion a CAD "solution" without providing support for one of the most common manufacturing methods in industry...welding. SMH

The team has been working very hard at consistently delivering functionality over the last several years - we simply haven't been able to get to weld symbols yet, although we have every intention of addressing this feature this year. We appreciate your patience as the team is doing their best to deliver on a long list of enhancements and new features that the community desperately needs in order to complete their drawings - welding symbols is just one of those items.
