Pin-slot joint with curve and multiple directions

Hi,

I'm super new to Fusion 360 - second day - and have designed up a plate that will be used to lock a bar into two rotational positions: 0 deg and 90 deg, and an extra pin to lock it in place at these two extremities. See screenshot and project link below.

I don't know how to lock the pins to their cutout pin guide. Any help would be much appreciated!

Cheers!

For some reason, you model will not download.  I will keep trying.  In the meantime, take a look at this article and see if it helps you with your pin and slot design.

I final got your model to download.  Practicing on another simple assembly, I have found out how to do a Pin-Slot joint on the basic curve, but your change of direction at the end, locking positions, I believe will require a different type of joint but I am not sure.  Take a look at the screencast to see how I would create a pin and slot joint for a simple curve.  As I say, I have no idea how to make it go around a corner.

Screencast will be displayed here after you click Post.

Thanks for the link, I'll have a look!

I just downloaded the file myself, here's the download link if it helps. It will only last 7 days.

I could not get my screencast to attach to my reply so I am posting it here.

Thanks for the info and time taken RE the pin-slot joint, definitely helpful. As you say though, my lock positions make this more difficult than I anticipated it being..

I found a video for how to do this in SolidWorks (I have a lot more experience in this, but they don't offer a hobbyist licence 😞 )
