Cable chain

Anyone has any idea how to animate cable chains? I saw some videos that it's possible with Inventor but since Fusion uses Joints, I wonder if there's any other way or do the Fusion team has something coming up regarding chains.

For those who don't know what cable chains are, they look like these.

Wow, that multijoint chain you made Nathan is awesome!  I added an additional chain link at the end, and turned off opacity of the component that was jointed to the end link via a Slider joint (and added the maximum 30 degrees to the new Revolute joint).  Also turning off visibility of joints, and doing a motion study to animate it, gives decent footage that can be captured!

Cool how many joints can work together like that (Probably could even work with quite a few more, and also for any of the links that are not involved in changing angle, I would be sure to add a Slider joint for each to the bar component (that normally has opacity turned off).

Ah yes it's mine, so is there any updates on the development side? Cause I know this is one of joints limitation but not sure about others yet.

Hi, I'm just curious what limitation you're referring to with the current implementation shown (that includes chain stabilization with one or more slider joints)?
