Formit on iPad: login failure

Hey there, i have an issue logging in on my iPad to push my latest Formit sketch to the A360 Drive.: "Sign in Error. ... please check your credentials and try again..." Meanwhile the login via the browser on my MacBook works fine, so username and password seem to be fine. Changing the password did not change anything... Thanks, Benjamin.

hi Ben, 

 

Are you trying to log into Formit, the BIM 360 Team mobile app, or the web version of your A360 Drive with your ipad?

 

Please confirm so that i can get you the right help here.

Hi there,

 

do you think that there is a solution for my problem within the next days or can i just act on the assumption that my file is caught on the iPad forever and i have to start the project in another software from scratch if I wanna continue working on it?

BTW: logging in on another iPad (Formit) works fine... but of course the latest files i created on the other device, that I can not sync because the login fails here, are missing...

Hi Benjamin - Very sorry for the trouble you're having - can you try the following:

 

  • Restart the FormIt app by going to the iOS app switcher (double tap the home button), Then close the app by swiping it. Then start the app again and try log-in again
  • Reset the iPad and try FormIt and logging in again (obvious, but worth trying if you haven't already!)
  • Create another A360 log-in (all you need is a valid email address) and try logging into FormIt on your iPad with that (this one will allow you to see your local files that were created by another user)

If these don't work, please let us know. Sorry again for the potential lost work!

nope, unfortunately not working...

 

  • Reset the iPad and try FormIt and logging in again (obvious, but worth trying if you haven't already!)

I restarted the iPad, did not help...
I reseted the settings, now the error message is different (see screenshot attached)

I should probably not delete all settings and contents, right? (see screenshot attached)

Does it make sense to reset all network settings though? (see screenshot attached)

It is also not possible to log in with another account... the same error message pops up.

Sorry, forget about everything I wrote above – the reset disconnected my wireless so thats why it did not work that time... it is fine now, the reset worked! Should have a cup of coffee before I start doing things like that ,-))

Thanks for the happy follow up! I'll add 'reset wireless router' and 'disconnect and reconnect to wifi on iPad' to my list of possible cures. Really appreciate you letting us know that you're unblocked Benjamin - I hope you still make your deadline with the Formit model you built!
