We would like to propose adding the ability to toggle or disable non-essential features at the organization or account level.
Two recent updates to Autodesk introduced the following changes:
- Automatically filtering out “Closed” issues from the issue list
- Automatically preventing “Closed” issues from syncing when downloading a project to a device
In both cases, these changes must currently be reversed or adjusted on a per-project, per-user basis, as there is no option to disable these optional features globally.
We understand theses changes are meant to minimize sync times and storage impact, but for us these updates have resulted in delays on the jobsite, as well as delays in delivering time-sensitive inspection reports to our clients. Providing the ability to manage these settings at the user — or ideally the organization/account — level (rather than per-project, per-user) would immediately improve efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and restore workflow consistency.
Given the operational impact, we believe this enhancement is urgently needed. It would significantly benefit organizations managing multiple projects and help streamline reporting processes.
