Customize RFI Disciplines

There is currently no ability to customize RFI disciplines at the account level, leaving users to sort through a long predefined list of options. This limits standardization and efficiency, especially for organizations that want to tailor disciplines to their specific workflows. Allowing account-level customization of RFI disciplines would streamline selection and improve consistency across projects.

We ran into this today with a client. Currently, there isn't a Telecom or Teledata option. Pretty important part of design these days.

Agreed. I ended up making a custom field for Discipline with my own values and hiding the default Discipline field provided. While this may work, it puts the field lower on the form and may break some AI or Analytics reporting that would rely on the standard field for this value.

The discipline list should not be hard coded to all projects. It should be customizable for project specific needs.
