We would like the possibility to manage viewing permissions for forms based on company. In projects where several companies use the same form template is often used, for example for self-inspections, Site Enrollment or quality follow-ups. Now we use the settign for single contributer to hinder the companys to see eachothers forms. Otherwise it is necessary to create separate copies of templates for each company or manually manage permissions per company. This leads to unnecessary administration, increased risk of errors, and difficulties in keeping templates updated and consistent.
We therefore propose a setting in “Edit Form Template” where the form can be linked to companies and where a function can be activated, for example called: “Allow companies to view all forms linked to the company”, with a simple On/Off or Yes/No toggle. If the function is activated and a company is selected in the dropdown list in the form’s basic settings, all members within that company would automatically receive viewing access to the forms. Editing and creating permissions could continue to be controlled through existing roles and permission settings.
This solution would reduce administrative workload, lower the risk of incorrect permissions, and make it possible to work with a single template without creating duplicates. It is particularly valuable in larger projects where multiple companies, or several entities within the same corporate group, need to work within the same structure while still having clear and controlled access.
