The Project Admin Activity log in ACC is a useful tool for tracking file-related actions such as uploads and copies. However, we recently encountered a limitation that caused significant investigation time.
During a file migration, a project member moved files from one folder to another. Unfortunately, this action was not recorded in the Project Admin activity log. The only available entries were related to file uploads or copied files, with no indication that files had been moved.
As a result, we spent extra hours trying to locate where the files ended up and understand what had happened.
It would be very helpful to introduce a new activity type, such as “Move file”, and make it available as a filter option within file activities. This enhancement would greatly improve traceability and make investigations much quicker and more effective, especially on large projects with multiple contributors.
