Now that we are able to “Stretch Rods Separately,” for the rod extensions above the Profiled Bearer CID 838, in Fabrication CADmep 2016, it would be really nice to be able to do the same thing to the rod extensions below. We have many back to back channel and strut hangers that are stacked in our drawings with some shared common rods, and some not shared rods. It would be very helpful to be able to show and then fabricate the rods that are shared by changing the rod extension below the Profiled Bearer to allow us to do so.   We currently extend the lowest hanger’s shared rod up through the hangers above. The problem is that we cannot change the rod extension below to 0”, on the hangers above, so we end up with several short lengths of rod that we do not need. We are of course, filtering them out in the reporting, but it would be great to be able to eliminate them all together and we believe this would be the method to use. Show More
