Add License key after a trial - fail error cannot display in a frame

Like others reporting across products and platforms after a trial and attempting to enter the license key for a education purpose you receive the following error, then it takes to your account manager.  Irrespective of platform, tried MAC, Linux and Windows 10/11 without impact errors are the same. Plenty of us at Uni having same issue

Unfortunately, we're aware of an issue with RegisterOnce, which is used to activate institutional licenses. Our Education and Activation team are working to resolve the issue. I am also escalating the case you have opened with our support teams to help you get the best support.

Hi can you open a case for me too same issue with any of the current versions of Maya edu version doing the same thing after entering a Serial

I am experiencing this issue when trying to activate AutoCAD architecture as well as Civil 3D. Hoping for a fix soon.

A lot of folks are getting this issue. I submitted a case a while ago, haven't heard anything.

Trying to activate an Autocad v.2022 (already activated previously) instead activates without problems, if you try to activate a new version (2024 or 2025) that has never been activated before it crashes.

To all, not sure if this is of any assistance but the vendor that supplies our educational licenses said the advised issue was a global issue and that the general resolution was for the license vendor to issue of a new product code. On receipt of the new code the registration proceeded very quickly with no faults. On usage the product displays the product is now a full educational license. Just to confirm this error and resolution pertained to a 2025 Educational product.

In the control panel (https://manage.autodesk.com/products) you see the new license code you were assigned?

Yes I do see the new code in multiple places and in addition I also see
on the main screen (Autocad 2025) that it is a licensed educational
product and finally when I look at my personal profile and products it
again shows the licensed product

hi my maya 2025 key was changed but I’m still having the same error when trying to activate can someone confirm they changed it as when I generate a download on the edu site it’s different than on the account page

So at the moment you just have to wait for them to issue a code and proceed with the activation.

That would be really nice, because we paid for something we can't use and we need autocad as soon as possible right now 😞

Do I then need a whole new installation file or is it then solved at the part where the link is opening ?
