Updating 2 layer to 4 layer design

As per title, I'm changing a 2 layer design to 4 layer, and so updated the project with the usual (1+2*15+16) settings but it seems like something is wrong as route2 is not orange, but some cross-hatch blue color.and route15 is crosshatch red. These have been filled with solid polygons for GND and VCC, and so should appear solid. I've tried closing and opening the project again, but this problem remains. Do I need to start a new project?

No , this is correct.  When you go to the layer, you can change how it looks in either color or fill style.  This fill type will only show that way on your screen, when you do a gerber, you'll see that it's 100% and not hatched.  If you want to see it as full, for viewing purposes, go to your visible layers, double click on that specific layer, and change the fillstyle.
