Row and Column values for XY Array

It doesn't seem that you can specify a variable for the row and column properties of the XY Array baction. The X and Y dimensions show up in the parameters palette, but the row and column distances do not. Is there any way to specify the row and column offsets in a lookup table? I'm trying to make the spacing variable. It seems that the offsets are fixed properties of the action and not editable unless you edit the block definition.

The row and column spacing only show up in the properties palette if you select the array action. They do not show up as parameters, so you can't change their values once the block is created. Since you can't select the Array Action when you're not in the block editor, the offsets don't show in the properties palette when you select the block. What I want to do is not only array the box, but vary the array spacing in a lookup. The offsets also don't show up in the lookup table as an input variable.
