ROOM TAG ATTRIBUTE WORD DYNAMIC BLOCK HIDE AND SHOW PROBLEM

Hi

The room tag, for example, will have 6 information from room name, room number, area, perimeter, clear height, and floor finish.

My question is, I want to make some of the information invisible and can show again when stretched, and I use the attribute word for all for simple, but I figured out the attribute word cannot be invisible when stretched, normal text also cannot, so I use stretch action with visibility states, lookup table and wipeout.

For simple use, visibility states is ok and the file is also ok, but I wonder can the attribute word being hide at the same time when I stretch the bottom of the wipeout area without click on the visibility states/lookup table?

I also want to retype the word through attribute properties without going into the dynamic block, but it seems the function will not work.

Is it ok for the room tag to be realised like this?
Thanks for help!

I think I understand what you're asking.

Remove the current Lookups. Then set the Distance1 parameter's 'Dist type' to be a List and then fill in the 4 values as the listed value you can then add a Block Properties table to relate the 4 Distance1 values to the desired Visibility state.

Ahh, I see now, what looked like attributes where actually blocks with attributes within the dynamic block.  You can't edit the attributes of a block within a block.  Explode those internal blocks and have them just be attributes of the dynamic block.  Then you can edit them in multiple ways.

1) The attributes should show up in the properties window, you can edit them there.

2)Hold down the CTRL key and double click the attribute. You can then edit it in place.

3)Double click the block and the attribute editor will open.

Revied block attached.
