How to hide attribute in different visibility states

I am trying to include different attributes in different visibility states. When I hide the attribute in a certain visibility state it hides in the block editor, but it does not hide in model space. I tried using -ATTSYNC but it did not work.

I want the "X1" attribute to be hidden in the "Single Headed Light Lights" visibility state as shown below:

Set the attribute property 'locked' to yes and run attsync.

I need it to be unlocked so I can move it when I rotate the circle that it is supposed to be in. See below:

Rotated 90:

Rotated 90 with attribute moved:

Is there another way around this?

If you want attributes to work with dynamic parameters (including visibility) they need to be locked.  There's no way around that.  If you want to be able to move them, though, that is very easily accomplished even if they are locked.  Add a point parameter with move action to each attribute you want to be able to move.

This is great, thank you! One last thing, what command do you use to lock existing attributes?

Select the attributes, go to the properties palette, change the property locked to yes.  Attsync in model space.
