How do i create a solid 3D shallow elliptical dome?

I need it to be 103mm x 75mm  and 3mm high.

I've tried scaling a block but cannot explode the reference block. I've tried creating a domed surface but i cannot convert it to a sold.

Please help 🙂

... and >>here<< a video.

BTW: This has nothing to do with Dynamic Blocks.

See >>here<<

@john.vellek's answer #6 (and the limitation) is still relevant.

First you need some ellipses - one ellipse 103 x 75 and four elliptical arcs 75 x 6 and 103 x 6 (twice each).

Then create a loft using the elliptical arcs as cross sections and the full ellipse as guide.

Convert the resulting surface into solid and slice the half. >>Done<<

... before you ask how to draw the ellipses - >>here<< one example. There are a lot of other possibilities too.
