HEA-Beam Dynamic radius + thickness

I am building a dynamic HEA beam and i have some issues with the radius. When i change the size of the beam from HEA 120 to HEA 140 to HEA 160, 2 things happen:

- The radius doesnt change from r12 to r15 when going from HEA 140 to HEA 160.

- The thickness from the neck doesnt change on both sides when changing size between the HEA Beams. Also it isnt synmetrical when placing a center line in the block.

Can anyone who knows what the problem is check on my block and find out what the problem is and could you tell how to fix it for later parts and work.

Thank you for your time

Can't check it if you don't share: Post your block in a container file.

Your solution works, but i have the issue that i need to follow dimensions according to real profile measures, i cant have a freeform model and manually setting the dimensions. This is because it will be used irl, so the company wants this.

Thank you for your help still

I delete Lists for Linear parameters and Block properties table only for easier creation of block.

You can attach Lists and Block properties table and block will work as expected

I have done all the steps in the video you made. it works for the new arcs, but the one on the bottom right still does not want to connect to my block, did i do something wrong or maybe forgot a step.

could you please check it.

add Scale R0 action to Move R0 action

I think you don't need add lists to linear parameters. You have values in Lookup table and that is enough. But now when you add new profiles in table you must check all lists of linear parameters.

Hi and thanks for your help,

I'm trying to follow yor tutorial but I'm having the same fkouwenhoven' trouble, and in my editor (acad 2019) I cannot select any action as object of another action: they're all grouped toghether

furthermore  if I change the ray parameter back and forth (15-24-12...) the arc starts moving in an unexpected direction.

Thak you for your help

I solved my  problem:

I had to unthick "show action bar" in BESETTINGS - then the action started to appear separated (and selectable) as in your tutorial.

And now the arc stays in its position.

Thank you so much. I finally learned how to use "indipendent"
