Dynamic Blocks with multiple view options

I'm trying to create a threaded anchor rod that has multiple visibility options. For example, I want to be able to click the first visibility (or lookup) and select 1/2" dia., 3/8" dia, 3/4" dia, etc.  I then want to be able to select a second visibility and select the embed length (3", 4", 5", etc). I know I can create a super long visibility action that contains each of the diameter and embed combinations that I need. I also know I can create different lookup tables; I started by creating one for each diameter rod with all the different embed depths that I need. But I don't want to have like 6 different lookup icons on my block; I'd really like to be able to make 2 work. I considered doing something with stretch, but that screws up my threads of course. Can anyone explain to me how I can manage doing that? Or come up with a method I hadn't thought of? I'm stumped! I've attached my file so you can see what I've done so far. Thanks!

Okay. I think it should be good now. Sorry about that.

I'd lengthen/shorten the threads with arrays.  Then just switch between the .5 and .375 sizes using the visibility.  See screencast (long...).

Thank you! That's a great suggestion. It won't be 100% accurate, but it's pretty dang close and will definitely be the easiest method I think.

Did you watch the screencast?  I made it exactly as accurate as your visibility states were.

I apologize. I'd been working on a similar solution that was not as accurate as the one in your video, so I thought I was on the same page as you. I did watch through the video now, and it's quite a bit more accurate than I had been able to accomplish. Thank you very much.

Could you by chance attach your dwg file?

Nope.  I don't save the files if I make a screencast.  I generally find it is counterproductive to the learning process.  The old 'give a man a fish' adage.  If you get stuck or if there are specific parts of the screencast you don't understand, then let me know and I'll elaborate.
