Dynamic block Hatch rotation

I have been making some dynamic lights. Pretty basic 2x2 and 2x4 lights with visibility setting for turning on and off the emergency hatch that we use. I have the light type text so that it automatically orients at 0 angle no matter how the light is rotated, but when I rotate the light with the emergency hatch turned on, the hatch does not stay at the same angle. Is there some way to keep the hatch at the same angle when rotating the block? Also is there a better way to mask the hatch around the text other than creating another box around it?

See attached. I used a rotation action to move just the rectangle, and keep the hatch at a constant angle. The only way to mask an attribute is to use multi-line att's, and use "Background Mask" when you are in the Mtext editor.

However, the rotation causes the text to rotate as well, so I created another problem for you.
