Block with Dynamic Attribute

Hello,

I have made a block that itself is not meant to be annotative, but I would like to embody in it an attribute that has text displaying in various scales.

The block I made kind of works; If I set a specific scale on block insertion the text will adjust to the current scale, but it will not display in any other scales apart from that. The problem is that I am unable to tell it to display at various scales without inserting a second block.

The block itself is set NOT to be annotative.
The text style in the attribute is annotative and assigned numerous scales.

Any idea how to make the block display text at various scales without making the block itself annotative, as i want the drawn items itself stay consistent in size?

I got the answer from this thread

Solved: Re: Annotative attributes in a non-annotative block - Autodesk Community - AutoCAD

Create the block, insert the block into a drawing and then at the command line type OBJECTSCALE, then add the scales. The problem is it doesn't retain the scales from drawing to drawing.

See the attached drawing

Thanks a lot, that is exactly what I was looking for.

It would be nice if it could hold the pre-set annotations, but the fact you can still set those and then copy around in one file is very useful!
