45 elbow duct with stretch

Hi,

I need help with the attached dynamic block. I'm trying to make this 45 degree elbow duct stretch horizontally and verticlly while maintaining the 45 degree angle. I get very close but I'm missing something and can't figure it out.

Please see if attached is what you need.

I gave you 2 option. You can give the pipe length in block A and Hor distance in block B.

Please let me know how you go.

By the way, your attachment was not a block. It was just the shape. So I was not sure what you were doing and what went wrong in your block. What I did is just to give ideas.

Yes the 3rd block you updated is exactly what I was looking for. I see you added 5 parameters to make this work right and I'm reviewing it to understand how it's done. I improvised the block a little by making the horizontal legs stretch. Take a look.

I only added one parameter, an XY.  I added 5 stretch actions to it.  Make special note of the distance type, distance modifier, angle offset, and stretch window of each action in properties.
